Intro & Challenge
Finding the right place to stay with a camper shouldn't mean navigating unclear availability, complicated bookings, or fragmented information. At the same time, hosts need simple tools to manage their spots without adding more operational complexity. Parkn'Sleep set out to connect both sides of the experience: making it easier for campers to find and book a spot, while giving hosts the tools to manage their spaces, availability, and reservations with confidence.
The Solution
The idea was simple: bring campers and hosts together in one seamless experience. Campers can discover available spots, compare Standard and Premium options, book their stay, and manage everything from check-in to checkout.
But making this work meant building two connected experiences:
- A simple, intuitive mobile experience for campers
- A powerful management platform for hosts
Both needed to make availability, bookings, capacity, payments, and day-to-day operations easier to understand and manage while keeping the experience seamless from finding a spot to completing the stay.
The Process & The How
We mapped the complete Parkn'Sleep experience across both sides of the platform, from discovering and booking a pitch to managing spots, availability, and reservations.
Campers could find suitable spots on a intuitive, comprehensive map, compare Standard and Premium options, manage their bookings, and move through check-in and checkout with minimal friction.
Hosts needed a more powerful toolkit: managing spots, monitoring bookings, adjusting availability and capacity, handling payments, and controlling how their pitches could be booked.
We translated these journeys into interactive Figma prototypes, continuously refining the flows, information hierarchy, and interactions to make complex operations feel simple and predictable.
All supported by a systematic UX process focused on consistency, scalability, and reducing friction across the entire experience.
The Outcome
Parkn'Sleep evolved into a complete digital platform connecting campers and hosts through a more cohesive and scalable experience. The product was designed across the full journey, from discovering and booking a spot to managing availability, payments, check-in, and checkout.
To make the experience accessible across devices, the mobile application was built with Flutter, allowing Parkn'Sleep to deliver a consistent experience across both iOS and Android while maintaining a unified design system.
Alongside the mobile experience, we created a dedicated web app for both campers and hosts, extending the platform to the browser while providing hosts with the tools needed to manage spots, bookings, availability, capacity, and day-to-day operations.
The platform was also integrated with Stripe, enabling secure digital payments and providing the infrastructure for managing transactions, balances, and payouts.
The result was a connected product ecosystem that brought together:
